Gravitas, x3o collide in CEVO-P Week 3:1 on de_dust2.
The CEVO season keeps chugging along, as it moves onto the ever so popular de_dust2.

After winning the KODE5am qualifier this past weekend over teams like 34 and TX Allstars, EG.usa was humiliated on forge in week 2:1 by the very same t34m.

Gravitas and x3o are the only two undefeated teams remaining, and they will collide tonight to determine who will be able to keep that loss column squeaky clean.

Other matches to keep your eye on this week include FD vs EG.usa, as well as Gravitas vs EG.usa.

PostSubject: Changes continue in the Brazilian squad as they part ways with fnx.   Counter Strike Headline Coverage EmptySun Feb 15, 2009 11:54 am

In 2006 Made In Brazil had been at the top of the World as ESWC champions, and continued being successful through the 2007 season with wins at shgOpen and Dreamhack WGT respectively.

As the 2008 season came around though, the team wasn't performing as well as they had hoped and management became worried, warning of possible roster changes if the streak continued.

After cutting Bruno "bit" Lima last December to allow the return of legend Carlos "KIKOOOO" Segal, MiBR once again made a huge move today by releasing young star Lincoln "fnx" Lau. Management made it very clear that the organization was
serious about wanting players who were motivated to win.

When asked by GotFrag.com about why Lau was cut, manager Leandro "chataum" Loiola simply stated that Lau was "without motivation in both practice and games."

In place of Lau, MiBR brings to the ranks the well traveled Guilherme "spacca" Spacca, a former member of several Brazilian teams such as Firegamers, vsONE, and GC.br.

When asked about why they made the choice to pick up Spacca, Loiola told Gotfrag.com that "He had already played for several good teams, was one of the best players in last years Brasil Cup, has a very strong awp, and is very dedicated."

Now only time will tell if this new, more focused MiBR will be able to capture the glory that the team once had behind leaders Segal and Raphael "cogu" Camargo.

MiBR plans to play with this new roster at the ESL EM Global Finals in March.

The fourteenth season of the German EPS league is about to be underway with matches kicking off today! The top teams from the nation include such squads as Alternate and n!faculty. Perhaps the most highly anticipated team though is Mouz. As consecutive two-time champions of the league, all eyes will be on them as they go for their third title.
